Dr. Oluwatosin Ajayi is a Researcher, AMR advocate, and One Health Enthusiast based in Lagos, Nigeria. She works as a Research Analyst at One Health Trust, Washington D.C, an organization that uses research and stakeholder engagement to improve public and global health.
At the One Health Trust, she provides research support for projects on antimicrobial resistance and other issues of public health concern. One such project is the Nigeria National Action Plan (NAP) on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR): Situational Analysis & Key Recommendations for the Development of NAP 2023.
Before joining OHT, Dr. Ajayi led different research projects on antimicrobial resistance; collaborated with professionals from different backgrounds to solve public health problems, using the “One Health” approach.
She holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria.
Her research interests include antimicrobial resistance, infectious diseases, zoonosis, and food safety.
