As conference president and on behalf of the DGHM Executive Board, I would like to warmly welcome you to our 78th Annual Conference in Hamburg. From 28 to 30 September 2026, you will have the opportunity to learn about the latest developments in diagnostics and research in medical microbiology and hygiene. You will also have the opportunity to engage in intensive discussions with international speakers, young scientists and representatives from industry. Last but not least, Hamburg, one of Europe's most beautiful cities, offers a wide range of cultural, leisure and culinary attractions.
