Science Slam – Your Research on Stage
At this year’s DGHM Annual Conference, researchers once again have the chance to present their research projects on stage – in an accessible and engaging way, in a maximum of 10 minutes.
This is where science meets entertainment – creative ways of showcasing your research are very much encouraged.
The audience decides who wins!
The only requirements:
- Your project is affiliated with a higher education institution (university, university of applied sciences, research institute, etc.),
- is in the field of microbiology and hygiene AND
- is based on your own research findings.
Ready to present your research in an engaging way?
So if you’d like to take to the stage yourself with your Science Slam entry, please register for the Science Slam via office@dghm.de. We look forward to your entry! A digital introductory workshop is planned for all Science Slam participants before the conference (expected in July). In addition to the most important information about the Science Slam, there will also be time for your questions.

Payment of fees and confirmation
When registering via the online form, direct online payment is possible via our external payment provider Mollie. The following payment methods are offered: Credit card, iDeal. Alternatively, payment can be made by bank transfer. You will find the bank details on the invoice sent to each participant immediately upon completion of online registration. This invoice is also valid for submission to the tax office. The fee is due for payment upon completion of registration. If payment is made 10 working days or more before the start of the event, the transfer receipt must be presented when checking in.
