Information for talks
  • Please prepare your presentation in 16:9 aspect ratio.
  • PDF, PowerPoint and Open Office presentations will be accepted.
  • The use of different versions when submitting presentations may lead to changes due to conversion problems. Please note that you must provide the appropriate CODEC for playing video sequences.
  • Appropriate technical equipment will be provided on site.
  • Please bring your presentation to the congress on a mobile storage medium, ideally on a USB stick.
  • There will be a central media check-in where you can upload your file to the system and test the presentation. The presentation will then be available on the computer in the lecture hall. Please upload your presentation at least 2 hours before your presentation at the media check-in.
  • To avoid technical problems, it is not possible to use your own laptop for your presentation. You must upload your presentation at the media check-in.


Information for poster presenters

1. Poster exhibition (without presentation)

All posters will remain on display for the duration of the conference. To ensure you know where to hang your poster and when you should be on hand to answer questions, your poster ID and the relevant date have been sent to you by email. Your poster ID will be displayed on the designated poster board at the venue.

2. Poster session (questions/discussions)

There will be two poster sessions during which the poster authors should be available at their posters to answer questions and take part in discussions:

3. Poster walk (with poster presentation)

For some posters, a poster walk will take place during the poster sessions at the request of their specialist group:

Each poster should be presented for three minutes, in the order of the IDs.


4. Poster Awards / Best of Poster

Ten poster prizes of 100 euros each will be awarded, and the winners will be notified by email on Tuesday evening (29 September). Winners are asked to submit their poster in digital form early on Wednesday, 30 September, by 9.30 am at the media check-in, and then to present it during the poster prize award ceremony at 10.30 am in a short, 2-minute presentation.
